To me Horses carry feminine energy. I refer to this as Mystical Intelligence, the essential consort to Masculine Rationale. To me they are a feminine energy, because while connecting with them as a soulful Being, they lead me into the Mystery. The place Between the Worlds of Horse and Human, between Spirit and Flesh. The place where the dialogue of souls takes place.
Interacting with Horses on a soul level changes everything. When we meet in this place Between the Worlds, we lay aside our defenses. Our armor. Our judgments and preconceived ideas. Our expectations. Here we meet with the purpose of understanding and possibility.
Mystical Intelligence leads us into the space of change. It blurs the edges of what is practical and reveals wisdom in the intangible. Mystical Intelligence is the catalyst to make the unknown known.
Horses are at home in the unknown. Here they are not managed by Humans. They are not subservient to Humans. Here, they lead the way for Humans.
My mare Enchantress has led me into what was unknown to me before we met. Her resistance was the invitation to enter this portal Between the Worlds. At first all I could see was the resistance and countered it with alternative requests and actions. Only to find more resistance.
Finally, within the resistance I saw options. I saw opportunity. I experienced a summons that was soul ordained; agreements that we had made to accompany us through this life journey. This was Mystical Intelligence at work.
Since having an experience Between the Worlds and being led by this Mystical Intelligence, I have changed my philosophy about the Horse Human relationship. I have less interest in riding, and more desire to connect and co-create a different code of understanding and progression with my Horses. And with my own soulful journey.
The Invitation
How often do you take a look at your philosophy and beliefs about your relationship with your Horse(s)? Are these beliefs outdated? Can you tell when they are asking you to join them Between the Worlds of Horse and Human? Take some time to just spend time with your Horse, clear your expectations and judgments, and just free yourself to take an energetic journey into the World Between. Just listen. Don’t ask, don’t assume, don’t expect. Just listen with your body, your energy, and your soul.
